Responsibilities
- Develop ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in healthcare, finance, and autonomous infrastructure by 2026
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI risks including bias mitigation and algorithmic transparency
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder workshops with industry leaders and government bodies on responsible AI adoption
- Author policy recommendations for federal AI regulation initiatives
- Monitor global AI ethics landscape and identify emerging compliance requirements
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical AI methodologies and foresight techniques
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or Policy with focus on AI
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible technology development
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, etc.)
- Proven track record of publishing in peer-reviewed ethics journals or tech policy forums
- Strong understanding of machine learning architectures and deployment challenges
- Experience with cross-cultural stakeholder engagement and consensus-building
- Certification in AI ethics or related governance frameworks preferred
