Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and adopting emerging technologies (quantum AI, bio-integrated systems, etc.)
- Conduct scenario planning for 2026's technological disruptions and prepare mitigation/adaptation strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Oversee R&D investments in future-focused technologies with 3-5 year horizons
- Mentor talent in emerging tech domains to build organizational capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership, with proven experience in future-tech planning
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Track record of executing large-scale tech transformations ($50M+ budgets)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technological evolution (papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems
- Certification in emerging tech frameworks (e.g., IEEE Future Tech Standards)
