Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year strategic technology roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating futuristic tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders and investors
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven decision making
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial acumen with budget management experience
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (articles, patents, or white papers)
