Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating emerging tech trends with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts for 2026+ market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation specialists
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services (post-2020)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ innovation frameworks successfully implemented
