Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-2030 innovation roadmaps across emerging tech sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Partner with venture capitalists to secure $10M+ annual funding for experimental projects
- Curate quarterly 'Future Horizons' summits with industry thought leaders
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 50+ IP filings annually
- Establish ethical frameworks for human-augmentation technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years leading R&D initiatives in deep tech or biotech sectors
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Proven track record scaling lab-to-market innovations
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Certification in Advanced Futures Studies (e.g., University of Houston)
