Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with exponential growth potential
- Quantify market readiness and ROI projections for next-gen innovations including AI-driven automation, quantum-integrated systems, and bio-digital interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, venture capital firms, and government innovation labs
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders through executive briefings and immersive future-casting presentations
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and socio-technological variables that could disrupt innovation timelines
- Build and mentor a high-impact futurist research team using cutting-edge analytical tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or futures research with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns and S-curve adoption models
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience presenting complex scenarios to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in foresight platforms (e.g., Foresight Platform, Trend Hunter) and data visualization tools
