Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze disruptive technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.) through 2030
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Vision Reports' with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future scenarios and validate innovation pathways
- Design immersive future-state workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish cross-functional 'Future Labs' to incubate moonshot projects
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and tech summits
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI governance, climate tech, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, etc.) and trend-mapping tools
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects or thought leadership
