Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic innovation frameworks integrating AI, biotech, and climate resilience solutions
- Architect 'future-proof' business models through scenario planning and trend analysis
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging industry paradigms
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate future-vision into actionable R&D priorities and investment strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Proven track record of delivering future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
