You'll leverage cutting-edge tools and frameworks to translate complex signals into actionable strategies, driving innovation across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps by synthesizing global tech trends, market signals, and sociocultural shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ business environments and customer behaviors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities across product development and service design
- Produce foresight reports and trend briefs for executive decision-making and strategic investments
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against 2026 industry benchmarks
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with future market needs
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term innovation frameworks (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources (academic, market, cultural)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field preferred
- Strong presentation skills with experience communicating complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPS, WFS) or innovation management a plus
