Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and societal disruptions to inform 5-10 year strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype next-generation solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Develop actionable innovation frameworks and KPIs to measure strategic impact on organizational growth
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with industry disruptors, VCs, and academic institutions
- Translate complex foresight insights into compelling narratives for C-suite stakeholders and investors
- Oversee the development of Horizon's '2026 Vision Blueprint' and annual innovation roadmaps
- Champion ethical innovation practices and sustainable technology integration strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (portfolio required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption forecasting methodologies
- Deep technical fluency across AI, quantum, biotech, and climate tech domains
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFS)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
