Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic frameworks for 2026 technology adoption across verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neural interfaces, carbon-negative tech)
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to capture emerging innovations
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 18-36 month market impact
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish ethical governance protocols for emerging technologies
- Mentor innovation teams in foresight methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-oriented projects
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ technological trends (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology roadmapping)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful delivery of 3+ paradigm-shifting initiatives
