- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership team
- Mentor R&D teams on emerging technology adoption timelines and implications
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and future-focused think tanks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Technology Forecasting, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (quantum/AI/biotech focus)
- Expertise in Trend Impact Analysis and systemic risk modeling
- Certification in Horizon Scanning and Strategic Foresight methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Deep understanding of 2026-specific disruptors: AGI governance, synthetic biology, and climate resilience
