Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Produce strategic white papers and predictive models on disruptive technologies including quantum computing, AGI, and bio-integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational priorities with future market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-generation research initiatives
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing technology architectures and user experience paradigms
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and publish thought leadership in industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field with 7+ years in foresight roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex, interconnected future scenarios
- Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js for trend communication
- Demonstrated experience influencing C-level strategy through evidence-based future projections
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation (portfolio required)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
