Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging trends impacting 2026 across technology, sustainability, and human behavior
- Develop strategic frameworks for long-term innovation in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare organizational resilience for 2026 disruptions
- Produce actionable foresight reports and executive briefings on future market opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to align product roadmaps with 2026 technological inflection points
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate future insights into measurable KPIs and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience with strategic planning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused strategy implementations
