Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing sectors
- Analyze global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate resilience, digital sovereignty) to inform strategic priorities
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovations with 3-5 year impact horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams to align on future-proof initiatives
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports and visualizations for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to accelerate R&D pipelines
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists in trend analysis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate foresight roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience leading high-impact strategy initiatives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner) strongly preferred
- Portfolio showcasing published foresight work or strategic frameworks for 2025+ planning
