Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive market opportunities
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation systems
- Present futures scenarios to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Drive patent development for proprietary innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic innovation or technology consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, climate tech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST guidelines)
