You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to transform theoretical possibilities into tangible business advantages.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate innovation
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Author whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technological disruptions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advose on innovation portfolio allocation for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Present findings to Fortune 500 executive leadership and board committees
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis or scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS, APF) preferred
