In this leadership position, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and global thought leaders to develop frameworks for emerging technologies including quantum computing, neuro interfaces, and sustainable ecosystems. Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, investment priorities, and industry standards for the 2026 horizon and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy, aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities and societal needs
- Analyze emerging trends in AI, biotechnology, space exploration, and climate resilience to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with 5-7 year implementation horizons
- Present strategic foresight reports to investors, board members, and government stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists, data scientists, and domain experts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global innovation hubs
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and technological disruptions to update strategic priorities quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of successfully launching products/services with 5+ year development cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic narratives
- Experience leading global teams and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (white papers, patents, or keynotes)
