Responsibilities
- Analyze global technological, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational priorities with future opportunities
- Author white papers and thought leadership on disruptive technologies' societal impacts
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof solutions addressing climate and equity challenges
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory evolutions affecting long-term strategy
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
- Proficiency in horizon-scanning tools (e.g., TrendHunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
