Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive market shifts
- Partner with R&D to translate future visions into actionable product roadmaps
- Present findings to executive boards and industry conferences
- Establish ethical guardrails for next-gen AI and biotech implementations
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI targets
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-departmental alignment
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record translating long-term trends into business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills for complex concepts
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier media
