Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Innovation Roadmap, aligning emerging technologies with market demands and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough trends in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech
- Translate futuristic concepts into viable business cases with ROI projections and implementation frameworks
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into development pipelines
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish cross-industry partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future intelligence capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of developing future roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
