Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen innovations (quantum, AI, biotech) into core business operations
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futuristic initiatives with 10-year growth objectives
- Produce compelling future-state scenarios and roadmaps using predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Chair cross-functional 'Future Councils' to prototype and validate disruptive concepts
- Author thought leadership content positioning NextHorizon as the 2026 innovation benchmark
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI, biotech, or space tech
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial applications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation mastery
- Published research or patents in future-tech domains
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
