Responsibilities
- Forecast technological and societal trends through 2026+ using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating emerging tech (quantum, AGI, neuro interfaces) into core business operations
- Partner with product teams to incubate next-gen solutions targeting 2026 market readiness
- Author thought leadership reports and present insights to investors, boards, and industry forums
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical developments to inform responsible innovation strategies
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with proven impact on tech roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leader with 50+ citations in tech/futures publications
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology adoption
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible outcomes from trend-to-strategy translation
