Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Produce executive-grade foresight reports and visualizations for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish innovation pipelines for emerging technologies (quantum applications, neuro-interfaces, etc.)
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Advose board members on long-term risk mitigation and adaptation strategies
- Build and lead a global network of futurist researchers and industry experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, synthetic biology
- Strong proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into business language
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (portfolio required)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Singularity University)
