Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, climate tech) through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop patent-pending innovation frameworks integrating ethical AI, climate resilience, and human-centric design
- Lead cross-functional 'FutureSprints' with engineering, policy, and design teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Present strategic white papers to C-suite and board, translating complex tech trajectories into actionable business imperatives
- Build and steward an ecosystem of academic partnerships, VCs, and government agencies shaping 2026 tech policy
- Architect our annual 'FutureProof' certification program for next-gen technologies
- Drive thought leadership through keynotes at Web Summit, CES, and IEEE Global Tech Forums
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or Quantum Engineering with 8+ years applied research
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (demonstrable patents or $50M+ product launches)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, climate tech modeling, neuro-symbolic AI
- Published author in Nature/Science with 10+ peer-reviewed papers on future technology trajectories
- Experience advising Fortune 500 CEOs on 5+ year tech disruption scenarios
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Technology Roadmapping)
- Portfolio of 2026-tech prototypes or policy frameworks implemented at scale
