- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends with 5-10 year impact
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for next-generation projects
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for 2026+ technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, engineering, or business
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across global markets
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends
- Certification in horizon scanning or technology forecasting
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
