- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year strategic impact
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling executive presentations
- Establish partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and DARPA for collaborative research
- Drive innovation culture through quarterly hackathons and tech sprints
- Report to CTO on technology adoption curves and competitive disruption risks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in executive strategy roles
- Proven track record of launching billion-dollar tech initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, AGI governance, neurotech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or related field
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ innovators
- Security clearance for federal collaboration projects
