Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive 2026+ innovation strategy integrating AI, biotech, and climate-tech convergence
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Horizons' teams to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.) for commercial applicability
- Develop patent-pending methodologies for future-state scenario planning
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board with data-driven market projections
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, product innovation, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing 3+ year innovation roadmaps for tech companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, or climate tech)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning tools and market trend analysis frameworks
- Strong background in managing R&D budgets over $10M
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism (required)
