Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing MVPs and rapid prototyping initiatives
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Drive innovation governance frameworks ensuring ethical deployment and risk mitigation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and secure cross-functional buy-in
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global trend analysis and patent monitoring
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercial launch
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Exceptional stakeholder management with executive communication skills
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CII) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating successful transformation initiatives valued at $10M+
