Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market-ready deployment for 2026-era technologies
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, climate tech)
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Build and mentor high-performing teams of futurists, engineers, and domain experts
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budgets and manage stakeholder expectations
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and speaking engagements
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough products from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate)
- MBA or advanced degree in relevant field (preferred)
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing $1M+ budgets and cross-functional teams of 50+
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry forums
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
