Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields including generative AI, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Manage a portfolio of high-impact pilot projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to secure stakeholder buy-in for futuristic initiatives
- Build and mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers across multiple disciplines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present innovation roadmaps to investors and board members quarterly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation or R&D leadership with 5+ years in strategic planning
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, or climate tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from Tier 1 institution
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks like Stage-Gate and TRIZ methodology
