Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, and climate-resilient systems
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business objectives and market disruption
- Manage a $15M+ R&D portfolio with agile methodologies and KPI-driven milestones
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and keynote presentations
- Mentor a team of 12+ researchers and engineers in cutting-edge prototyping
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting 2026+ digital ecosystems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism with 12+ years experience
- Proven track record launching breakthrough tech products (quantum/AI/climate tech preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $10M
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP preferred)
