Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological convergence and market disruption through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, and climate science domains
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports with quantifiable impact assessments
- Advose on regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and economic volatility
- Mentor internal teams in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 8+ years experience in technology foresight or corporate strategy at Fortune 500 level
- Published research on AI ethics or climate-tech adoption patterns
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Track record translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Certification in Futures or Strategic Foresight preferred
