- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, tech breakthroughs, and cultural shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop evidence-based scenario models for 3-5 year strategic planning cycles
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Partner with R&D to align innovation portfolios with projected market demands
- Author thought leadership reports on disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging competitive threats
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across business units
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for executive-level communication
