Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies, market shifts, and socio-political trends impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation roadmaps with future-proofing goals
- Author strategic foresight reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers for future-tech prototyping
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organizational culture of anticipatory innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (quantum, bioengineering, AI ethics)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
