Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify disruptive technologies affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop multi-year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future insights into innovation roadmaps and product pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities across global markets
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops embedding foresight into cross-functional decision-making
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing $500M+ investment allocation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology consulting
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep technical literacy in AI, quantum systems, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (academic or industry)
- Proficiency in foresight software tools (e.g., Foresight Platform, SAMI)
