- Develop scenario-based strategic models and risk mitigation frameworks for long-term planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present trend insights to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published author in futurism or technology innovation (portfolio required)
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFSP) preferred
