Responsibilities
- Forecast and document technological, economic, and social trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, engineering, and executive teams
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and horizon-scanning reports
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation fellows
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategic pivots
