Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks for product development, market expansion, and talent acquisition
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for multiple future outcomes
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership pieces positioning Horizon Dynamics as an industry pioneer
- Establish KPIs and metrics to track progress toward 2026 strategic milestones
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Business Analytics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in technology adoption curves and disruption forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic planning (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent strategic planning credentials
