Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI/ML, blockchain, and climate tech verticals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech trends with 3-5 year impact potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical strategy with business objectives
- Author strategic white papers and scenario analyses for investor and client ecosystems
- Manage vendor partnerships for pilot programs in quantum-resistant encryption and sustainable data centers
- Present tech forecasts to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning or technology architecture at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends (e.g., AI adoption curves, semiconductor roadmaps)
- Expertise in scenario planning and risk modeling for emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Analytics
- Experience with patent landscaping and IP strategy development
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Management preferred
- Portfolio of published tech forecasts or industry thought leadership
- Proficiency in Python, R, or Tableau for trend visualization
