- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging tech domains (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Partner with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, Caltech) on joint research projects
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Experience managing cross-functional global teams with diverse expertise
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/CF foresight program)
