Responsibilities

- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate disruptive innovations
- Present future technology scenarios to executive leadership and investors
- Build and maintain a network of academic and industry futurists
- Quantify ROI potential for experimental technologies
- Author quarterly technology trend briefs for strategic planning
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging tech deployments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven experience forecasting technology trends 3-5 years ahead
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology
- Strong background in commercializing emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
- Experience advising C-suite on technology disruption
