Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Map identifying breakthrough technologies with 5-10 year impact potential
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on existential risks and opportunities in AI, synthetic biology, and quantum systems
- Author quarterly 'Future State' briefings for investors and board members with data-driven trend analysis
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA innovation programs
- Design and implement corporate foresight frameworks using Delphi methods and weak signal detection
- Present at global forums like Web Summit and CES on the future of human-machine symbiosis
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or emerging technology with 10+ years applied foresight experience
- Published author in Nature Futures or peer-reviewed foresight journals with citation index >50
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization from concept to market impact
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, biotech) with track record of accurate predictions
- Proficiency in foresight software (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palisade @RISK) and scenario modeling tools
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology disruption and innovation strategy
- Security clearance eligibility for classified national security technology briefings
