Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technology trend forecasts for 2026+ horizon
- Lead scenario planning workshops for emerging tech adoption strategies
- Analyze patent landscapes and academic research to identify breakthrough opportunities
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Produce executive briefings on quantum computing and molecular manufacturing readiness
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption maturity in 2026 ecosystem
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or nanotech
- Proven track record of publishing future-tech forecasts (whitepapers, patents, or TED talks)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Deloitte Tech Trends)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful tech adoption initiatives
