Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological investments with 5-year business objectives
- Present future-tech scenarios to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and geopolitical impacts on innovation ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology ethics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions (2018-2023 validation required)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing applications, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research on exponential technology adoption patterns
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact analysis)
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation leaders
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
