Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics)
- Lead strategic innovation workshops for C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Translate future scenarios into actionable R&D initiatives and product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs focused on 2026+ tech
- Present future technology insights to investors and industry forums
- Mentor innovation teams on next-generation technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in anticipating technology trends (post-2026 experience preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling skills
- Published thought leadership on future technology impacts
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams in Fortune 500 settings
- Certification in Futurist Methodology (preferred)
