Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2027) and develop strategic implementation frameworks
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' teams to identify disruptive opportunities
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Present visionary insights to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Oversee venture investments in next-gen technology startups
- Develop patent strategies for emerging IP domains
- Coordinate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author annual 'Technology Futures' industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional data visualization skills for complex trend analysis
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
