Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and future market demands
- Analyze global tech trends, patents, and academic research to inform innovation priorities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into development cycles
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of technology innovators and research institutions
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution and disruption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing disruptive innovations
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published research or patents in technology innovation fields
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
