Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics audit protocols for autonomous decision-making systems
- Collaborate with ML engineers to embed bias mitigation algorithms in training pipelines
- Establish real-time monitoring dashboards for model fairness and transparency metrics
- Lead stakeholder engagements across government, academia, and civil society groups
- Author compliance documentation for FDA/ISO 24027 regulatory frameworks
- Train development teams on ethical AI deployment best practices
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI governance challenges
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech roles
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design)
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and state-level regulations
- Experience with bias detection tools (IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Exceptional written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or contributed to open-source governance frameworks
