Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead interdisciplinary research on bias mitigation in machine learning algorithms
- Develop audit protocols for AI decision-making transparency
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI pipelines
- Produce white papers and policy recommendations for regulatory bodies
- Mentor junior researchers on responsible AI development practices
- Represent the company at international AI ethics forums and summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in AI research with published work on algorithmic fairness
- Expertise in bias detection and mitigation techniques for ML models
- Strong background in policy development for emerging technologies
- Proficiency in Python, R, and statistical analysis tools
- Experience with AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
